GOLF FITNESS TRAINING

A FULL TPI MOVEMENT SCREEN

A series of tests that show exactly where your body is limiting your swing, before we change a single thing about how you train.

ROTATIONAL POWER AND CLUBHEAD SPEED

Distance comes from how fast you rotate and how well you transfer force into the ground. Both are trainable, at any age.

HIP AND THORACIC MOBILITY

If your hips and upper back cannot turn, you slide and come over the top. We give the rotation back so your swing has room to work.

A BACK THAT LASTS 18 HOLES

Lower back and shoulder resilience, so you finish the round as strong as you started and can play again the next day.

BUILT FOR GOLFERS

TPI-certified golf fitness training in Northbrook, for golfers across Glenview, Winnetka, Northfield and the North Shore.

Most golfers spend years on lessons and equipment and wonder why nothing sticks. If your hips don't rotate, your coach can tell you to turn through the ball all day and your body still can't do it. So you compensate, you lose distance, and your back pays for it by the back nine.

• A full TPI movement screen, so we know what your body is actually doing

• Programming built from your screen results, not a generic golf workout

• Rotational power work that shows up as clubhead speed

• Off-season blocks timed for a Chicago golf calendar

WHAT THE SCREEN FINDS

A Titleist Performance Institute screen tells us why your swing does what it does, before we prescribe a single exercise.

The screen is a series of physical tests: how far your hips turn, whether your upper back rotates on its own, how well you stabilize on one leg, how your shoulders move overhead. Each result maps to a specific swing fault, so we fix the limitation instead of the symptom.

• Early extension, loss of posture and sliding, traced to a physical cause

• A plan you can run in the studio and keep up in-season

• Retesting, so you can see what actually changed

• Strength that carries over to how you feel off the course too

IS THIS YOU?

Golf season in Chicago is short. The work that shows up in your May round is the work you start in February.

• You have plateaued despite regular lessons

• You are stiff on the first tee and sore the next morning

• You are losing distance year over year and calling it age

• You are coming back from a back, shoulder or hip injury and want to play without worrying about it

We are open Monday through Saturday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Early morning and evening sessions are available for
clients working around a full-time schedule.

Do I need to be in shape before starting personal training?

No. Every program begins with a movement assessment and is built around your
current fitness level. Most clients start with little or no recent training
experience, and the program scales as you get stronger.

Can you work around an injury or chronic pain?

Yes. Corrective exercise and injury prevention are a core focus at D2 Fitness.
Training is programmed around existing injuries and chronic pain, with an
emphasis on restoring pain-free movement before adding load. If you are under
the care of a physician or physical therapist, we can work alongside their
guidance.

What is golf fitness training?

Golf fitness training improves the mobility, stability, and rotational power
that drive a more consistent golf swing. D2 Fitness is Titleist Performance
Institute (TPI) certified, which means your program is built around a
golf-specific movement screen rather than general gym work.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?

Yes. Nutrition coaching at D2 Fitness focuses on higher-protein, sustainable
eating habits built around a busy schedule — not restrictive dieting. You can
try our free 30-day high-protein meal plan generator at
d2fitness.com/free-meal-plan.

How much does personal training cost in Northbrook?

Personal training at D2 Fitness ranges from $50 to $60 per session, depending on
package size and session type. Larger packages and semi-private sessions bring the
per-session rate down. Every new client starts with a free fitness assessment and
movement screen before committing to anything. Call or text 773-704-7926 for current
package options.

What makes a private studio better than a big-box gym?

A private studio means no waiting for equipment, no crowds, and undivided
coaching attention for the full session. Every workout is supervised and
programmed specifically for you, which is the main reason clients see faster
progress than training alone in a commercial gym.

Do you offer online or virtual training?

No. D2 Fitness is an in-person studio. All training takes place at our private facility
at 1430 Paddock Drive in Northbrook, IL, serving clients across Chicago's North Shore.
